Fellowship with the Mentally Retarded (India) – FMR (also known as FMR India was founded in 1970, and registered as a society under the Mysore Registration of Societies Act 1970 in April 1970.
FMR India is an affiliated member of L’Arche International, a federation of communities throughout the world sharing the same character and serving persons with intellectual disabilities . . .
The memorandum of association of FMR India identifies the main objectives as being the provision of service – residential, educational and vocational for adults and children with intellectual disabilities.
FMR India has obtained S 80G exemption under the Income tax Act 1960. FMR India has also obtained exemption under S 12a. FCR Act 1975: FMR India has been granted the facility for the receipt of foreign funds under the FCR Act 1975. PAN: AAAAF0083B. Our registered office is at Bangalore.
